- Bearings - two spherical roller bearings to take care of radial loads and one spherical roller thrust bearing to take care of axial thrust
- Shaft seal - Gland packing with lantern ring arrangement. Also a separate expeller with the main impeller prevents entry of slurry in the stuffing box area.
